The Croatian Rugby Union issued the press release about its participation in a worthy cause.
Croatian national rugby team will play a European Nations Cup game against Switzerland on Saturday, April 16, at Stjepan Spajić Stadium in Zagreb.
The game will start at 20:00 h, and Croatian players, along with their Swiss guests, will support a campaign for the elimination of violence against women, so everyone is encouraged to come and help raise the awareness in this social issue.
Domestic violence is completely unacceptable, and the Croatian Rugby Union feels invited to provide positive role models in the community. The Croatian Rugby Union is very proud to back the campaign and try to make a positive change.
Switzerland is currently the second team of the 2A group of the Nations Cup, with Croatia in third place, so it is expected to be an exciting match.
