World Cup 2018: Croatia 2 – 0 Nigeria FT

The first game of the World Cup for team Croatia was played in Kaliningrad, and Croatia won against Nigeria with the result

In the first half, Croatia took the lead in 39th minute, with an own goal by Nigerian defender Etebo, after a corner kick was taken by Luka Modrić and Mario Mandžukić shot with his head – the shot was wide, but the Nigerian player put it in his own goal. In the second half, Luka Modrić scored from penalty spot, after Mario Mandžukić was fouled in the box in the 70th minute.
