New horizons for B2B?
As Poslovni Dnevnik/Ana Maria Filipovic Grcic writes on the 12th of April, 2018, Dijana and Viktor Vetturelli from the Vetturelli company, along with one of Europe’s leading sports management companies, Swiss Infront, signed a sales contract for the first business run in Croatia, B2B run, on Wednesday.
The actual value of this acquisition has not yet been publicly announced, while as a motivation for this step, Dijana Vetturelli cites the desire to return to the body of a business firm.
“Event organisation is not at the centre of our business, and B2B run has grown to be the most important business event in Croatia for the past three years, I think this is the right time to give it to Infront, which specialises in organising such events. B2B run’s story in Croatia continues to grow,” she clarified when signing the contract.
The director of Infront, Lars Gerling, talked about the potential of corporate events such as the B2B run, which, in Germany, counts up to 200,000 runners in seventeen cities, and stressed that, besides significant health benefits, such events often lead to the naturally very welcome creation of new work positions.
The Vetturelli company will remain “at hand” to them during the initial transition period, and Barac and Zunić’s concept of race will not undergo any changes for the time being. This year’s race will be held again in four Croatian cities, in Zagreb on September the 13th, on May the 10th in Split, in Rijeka on May the 24th, and in Osijek on June the 14th.
