The best in the tourism business were awarded at Days of Croatian Tourism on Lošinj island
Earlier tonight, Days of Croatian Tourism (DHT) were officially opened with an award ceremony in hotel Bellevue in Mali Lošinj. On the first night of DHT, the Ministry of Tourism, the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) announced the award winners in multiple categories for best destinations and attractions.
The most coveted award of the night, Most successful summer destination, went to Rovinj, while Split took away the Best city break destination award.

Most successful destination in health tourism: Crikvenica
Best authentic coastal destination ‘Malo misto’ (Little Town): Maslinica
Most successful destination in rural tourism: Baranja region
Most successful destination in continental Croatia: Osijek
Best destination in sustainable tourism: Aquatika aquarium in Karlovac
Best in entertainment and fitness: Zaton Holiday Resort
Best beach: Lido; Angiolina bathing resort in Opatija
