Dubrovnik Graces Dubai’s Arabian Travel Market

Lauren Simmonds

The Arabian Travel Market also known as ATM (ironically) will be given the change to get to know Dubrovnik a little better…

From today until April the 27th 2017 the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and the Tourist Board of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County will present Dubrovnik to the Arabian masses with hopes to extend the reach of the Pearl of the Adriatic yet further.

Already wildly popular among countries like Korea, China and Japan, Dubrovnik is set to go even further in the world of tourism by winning over the Arabian Travel Market, which is being held for the 24th time and has come to be one of the most popular tourism-oriented events in the entire region of the Middle East. The fair, which encompasses both business and tourism is currently being held in the wealthy Dubai, where thousands of tourism professionals are expected to attend over the coming days. Dubrovnik is being presented from the stand of the Croatian Tourist Board (Hrvatska Turisticka Zajednica) at the Dubai Trade Centre, along with Abascus Tours, Amathus Travel Croatia, Losinj Hotels and Villas, the Zagreb Tourist board and several others from throughout Croatia.

Can the Pearl of the Adriatic grab the attention of the Arabs as it did with the Koreans and should the city expect more visitors from the Middle East? Time will tell!
