Dubrovnik – Pearl of Adriatic wins Best Timelapse at Los Angeles Independent Film Festival

The majesty of Dubrovnik wins an international award in LA.

From its spectacular setting as a Game of Thrones location to its famous old walls and UNESCO heritage, it is hard not to fall in love with the beauty of Croatia’s most famous city, but sometimes a stunning portrayal of Dubrovnik, also known as the Pearl of the Adriatic, takes that appreciation to a higher level.

Such is the case of Swiss photographer Christin Necker, whose spectacular timelapse of Dubrovnik – which was released last month – won plenty of admirer, and now its first award, as Necker’s Facebook page on November 15, 2015 announced that the video had won the category of Best Timelapse at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.
