Flights to Croatia: Two More Routes for Pula from Norway

The flight announcements keep coming, with Istria served by two more routes, reports Avioradar on February 19, 2017.

Pula Airport’s impressive diversification continues. 

Until recently heavily dependent on Russian traffic with some 40% of passengers coming from Russia until July 2013, visa requirements for Russians with EU entry led to a sharp reduction of visitors. 

The airport’s management hs reacted well to the new circumstances, attracting new airlines, including easyJet and Aer Lingus, and Istria is now connected by a growing number of European destinations. 

Two more have been added with the announcement that Norwegian will add two direct connections to Pula this summer. 

A weekly flight from Stavanger will run from June 1 to August 25, while tourists can also choose a Sunday flight from Trondheim between June 18 and August 6.
