November 5, 2023 – An important strategic partnership is signed between Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster and Zagrebmed.
These are exciting times for the Croatian medical tourism industry. One of the country’s untapped jewels, Croatia’s clinics offer world-class services at very competitive prices – see the video overview at the bottom of this article for a comprehensive overview.
But while the quality of care may have been exceptional, the level of cooperation between providers has not, with the very notable exception of the Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster, whose excellent efforts were once again showcased at last week’s Crikvenica International Health Tourism conference (CIHT), the leading health tourism conference in the region.
Zagreb, a major health tourism destination which has been working without an effective umbrella organisation has made great strides in recent times thanks to the efforts of Ivan Rendulic and his Zagrebmed association which is now offering the services of many of Zagreb’s leading clinics through one channel – learn more in a recent TCN interview with him.
Rendulic is keen to expand cooperation in the industry and posted the following on LinkedIn after a successful CIHT conference:
3 key ingredients are needed to further develop health tourism in Croatia:
๐ฅ Collaboration
๐ฅ Collaboration
๐ฅ Collaboration!
I’m thrilled to announce that ZagrebMed has taken a significant step in this direction. We’re delighted to share that we’ve recently partnered with Kvarner Health Cluster, a collaboration that underscores the importance of working together in healthcare.
๐ This exciting agreement was signed during the CIHT conference, which took place last week in Crikvenica. At ZagrebMed, we believe that global challenges require collective solutions. By joining forces with Kvarner Health Cluster, we aim to create innovative solutions, drive medical advancements, and enhance the overall healthcare experience for our patients.
๐๏ธ During the conference, I also had the privilege of moderating a panel with distinguished speakers:
๐ Dr. Indranoshee Das, Director, Ayush Govt. of Assam
๐ Prof. Dr Anandaraman Sharma P.V Sharma, All India Institute of Ayurveda
๐ Asst. Prof. Dr. Mult. Aleksandar Racz, Dr. Med. Spec., University of Applied Health Sciences, Zagreb
I’m extremely thankful to HE Mr. Raj Srivastava, Ambassador of India to Croatia, for the introductory speech to the panel.
This partnership is a testament to our commitment to fostering cooperation and synergy in the healthcare sector, thank you Dr. Vladimir Mozetiฤ, President of the Kvarner Health Cluster & Ms Marija Banjac, Kvarner Health Cluster Manager. Let’s keep working together and growing together.
