Ryanair adds a new route to its Croatian base airport on the Dalmatian coast.
After another excellent tourist season, preparations for the 2016 season in Croatia are already well underway, with a number of airlines already announcing new routes and expanded schedules for next year, the latest being Ryanair, reports Aerocroatia on October 15, 2015.
The Irish budget carrier, which has been largely responsible for the rise of Zadar Airport, will introduce a route from the Dalmatian coastal city to Berlin Schonefeld, with two rotations a week, starting on April 4, 2016.
The importance of Zadar as an arrival hub was given additional weight recently with the arrival of seaplane operator European Coastal Airlines, which now connects the airport with several onward Croatian destinations, such as downtown Split, Pula and island such as Rab and Mali Losinj.
