A great new international campaign by the Croatian National Tourist Board.
Yes, we’ve criticised the marketing efforts of the National Croatian Tourist Board on a few occasions, but on May 19, 2016, we have to give them credit for a great new campaign aimed at foreign markets. Looks like some fresh blood within HTZ is paying off.
If you’re tired of running to work every day and you’re dreaming of a fantastic all inclusive sailing trip along the Croatian coast, and a free one at that then listen up. Croatian National Tourist Board is asking you to send them your funniest, most creative Out of Office reply messages and they’ll send you somewhere far, far away from Realm of Cubicle Boredom. Get those creative juices going because with just a few written words you could end up sailing the amazing Croatian coast and receive an award to go with it!
This competition is open to natural persons residing in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Japan.
Here are some of the Out-of-office replies received so far, and if you think you can do better then send your out-of-office message to HTZ here!
I am out of reach until end date.
I am in sunny Croatia listening intently as the Adriatic Sea plays a pipe organ. If you need immediate assistance, please contact Name.
Hi! These are the five most beautiful words ever written:
I AM OUT OF OFFICE.
I hope these words find you well. And I hope my substitute Name provides everything you need while I am far, far away in Croatia, standing in the shallow water of an Adriatic beach looking at a tiny shrimp frolicking on my foot. I now call him Adriano. We communicate strictly through telepathy because we don’t want our voices to disturb the songs of the crickets.
I am out of worries until end date.
If you need immediate assistance please send me your address and I will send you back a hand-written postcard with a mechanical pencil made by the famous Croatian inventor Slavoljub Penkala. For other issues, contact my colleague Name.
I’m enjoying Croatia write now!
