Split Tourist Board Releases Advent in Split Video Report

A video memory of Advent in Split 2015.

And so it finally ended, the bumper year that was Split Tourism 2015.

Once known as the Gateway to the Dalmatian Islands, Split is one of the hippest destinations in Europe and fast becoming a year-round destination. 

Perhaps the biggest transformation over the last ten years has been life in the Dalmatian capital in winter. UNESCO World Heritage Site Diocletian’s Palace used to be a ghost town in the winter months until just a few years ago, but the introduction of Advent in Split has not only been a commerical success, but it has transformed the mood and pace of life in Split in winter. 

Advent in Split finished last weekend, but the memories live on in the form of this official video released by the Split Tourist Board on January 13, 2016.
