A new top camping holiday resort will open next year.
The Supervisory Board of Valamar Riviera gave a preliminary consent for investments and projects worth a total of 616.5 million kuna in 2019, reports Poslovni.hr on August 17, 2018.
One of the major investments in next year’s projects is the repositioning of the Sunny Camping 2* campsite, which is about to enter the second phase of the investment cycle and will next season will become a top camping holiday resort called Istra Premium Camping Resort.
Valamar is among the first companies in the Mediterranean which started to develop premium camping concept, with the first five-star camp in Croatia, Krk Premium Camping Resort 5*, significant investments and raising the level of service at Lanterna Premium Camping Resort 4* in Poreč and its other campsites.
After this major investment, Istra Premium Camping Resort will have a large family water-park with as many as 1,000 square metres of pools, a large entertainment hall with cinema, stage, children’s clubs and playrooms, as well as the Super Maro children’s programmes, one of the most beautifully landscaped Valamar beaches overlooking the old town of Vrsar, its own Piazza, restaurants, bars, V Sport Park and playgrounds, as well as glamping tents and luxury mobile homes with private pools.
“The repositioning of products towards those offering a higher added value in the camping segment is part of Valamar’s development and investment strategy. Istra Premium Camping Resort will be a high-level resort with a rich offer and excellent service that will open up to two hundred new jobs and certainly be one of the best campsites in Europe,” said Bruno Radoš, director of camp operations and regional director at Valamar Riviera.
For all the current users of the Istra camp who want to remain naturists, Valamar has provided excellent amenities and a choice between Solaris Camping Resort 3* in Poreč and Bunculuka Camping Resort 4* in Baška on the island of Krk. Long-time guests who used to stay at the Istra camp throughout the season are invited by Valamar to stay in the new Istra Premium Camping Resort at the same price next year as well.
Guests who are interested in shorter stays can get a 20% discount on all other options in the new Istra Premium Camping Resort. Istra Sunny Camping will remain a naturist campsite until the regular closing of the camp for the season on 30 September.
According to the new brand strategy, Camping Adriatic by Valamar is divided into three brands. Camping Adriatic by Valamar Premium Resorts offers luxurious accommodation in camping houses and glamping, with complete service on themed beaches and pools, active holidays, gastronomic offer and authentic destination experience.
