Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik Latest Flight News Roundup

Total Croatia News

New flight announcements are coming daily for Croatian airports – an overview of the latest news on October 13, 2017.

2017 has seen a record year for Croatian airports, even better than the record 2016, and all the signs are that 2018 will be even better.

Autumn normally sees the announcement of many new routes for the coming tourist season, but even more encouragingly, Zagreb in particular is benefiting from a number of airlines increasing their winter operations.

Great news for Zagreb that Lufthansa will not only continue its vital link to Frankfurt throughout the winter, but will increase the flights from last winter. The German carrier will operate two flights daily for an extra month, until December 1, and then start up with two flights a day from March 1, one month earlier than Spring 2017. From December to March, there will be one daily flight, apart from Saturday.

Spanish budget carrier Volotea continues its expansion into the Croatian market, and it will be connecting both Split and Dubrovnik to Milan Bergamo, with seasonal flights starting at the end of May.

Finally, Condor will be making the Adriatic coast more accessible to German travellers with four new routes, all of which commence on April 29.

Frankfurt – Zadar
Frankfurt – Rijeka
Dusseldorf – Split
Hannover – Split
