Is there a finer sight in all Croatia than a perfect lavender field in bloom, its bushes swaying gently in the afternoon breeze?
Hvar is known as the lavender island, but one has to be somewhat in the know to find the very best examples of Hvar lavender.
Somewhere, in a beautiful spot off the beaten path on top of the island, exists such a lavender field, with 300 perfectly arranged bushes living in tranquil harmony.
The lavender was harvested earlier this week and then distilled into oil, but not before photo maestros Romulic and Stojcic had a chance to capture its pre-harvest majesty.
