Grk is an indigenous sort that thrives on sandy and dry soil of Lumbarda. It is assumed it was brought by Greek settlers 500 years B.C., while some say the name was given by the bitter taste of the wine.
The Marinka family boarding house offers accommodation in four double bed rooms and six single bed rooms. The boarding house is 50 metres from the sea and around 300 metres from the cellar and tasting room. Accommodation is also offered in a house 800 metres from the boarding house in three triple bed studio apartments.
