Croatia Design Super Store in Zagreb adds a caffe / lounge area
Zagreb is really turning into one hip European city. With cool eateries, great event locations and both international and domestic brand stores popping up around every corner, it certainly is a perfect city break destination. We can now add another interesting location to the long list of “to do” things, and that is the Croatian Design Superstore in Martićeva ulica in the very heart of the city.
As of September 12th, Croatian Design Superstore combines great products by Croatian designers, including furniture, jewelry, clothes and artwork with a laid back coffee shop atmosphere. You can enjoy a relaxing cuppa, great selection of Croatian wines, craft beers, olive oils, jams and a whole range of cocktails designed especially for the store by the cocktail masters from Vino&Ino in Šibenik.
During your visit don’t miss out on the opportunity to try their very own brand of take-out food “Takolako” (So easy). It offers a whole range of soups, traditional hand made pastries with a modern twist such as the “Rudarska greblica” or “Kukuruzna zlevanka”, homemade granolas and all-natural smoothies, all locally and organically produced.
So, if you are in Zagreb, make sure you pop in, and even if you’re not, keep an eye for the Croatian Design Superstore pop-up stores along the Croatian coast. They just finished their brief stunt in Rovinj during the Weekend Media Festival, and for info on where they will be heading next, go to their official website.
