Virtual Reality comes to Zagreb. Where do you want to travel?
This summer, you don’t have to go to the coast to dive into the sea. Moreover, you can fly into space, attend the best circus show in the world and walk the streets of Venice. All that is possible in Zagreb in virtual reality studio Legame, according to a report in Vecernji List on July 28, 2015.
“For a long time, I have been studying the possibilities of virtual technology, so I’ve decided to start a business and show others all that it offers”, said Milan Gostimir, a young entrepreneur who also runs a computer equipment shop. He says that the main advantage of virtual reality is the fact that it gives users a real sense of presence. In whatever direction the person turns, they are surrounded by a completely different world, all while sitting in a chair with special glasses on the head.
The studio regularly adds new adventures that users may experience. For now, among women, the most popular adventures are virtual representations of nature, while men are more likely to take part in a horror story. Many of the adventures are suitable for young children as well.
“So far, the response is very good, but I hope that even more people will take a chance and try a new way of entertainment. Unfortunately, Croats still prefer to spend their money in coffee shops”, said Gostimir who pointed out that, when he decided to start the company, he had to face a number of challenges, including a lot of paperwork. However, he decided to give a chance to entrepreneurship in Croatia, though many of his friends and colleagues have started looking for a job abroad.
In studio Legame, visitors pay 30 kuna per adventure, which last an average of 15 minutes to half an hour. Up to two people can experience an adventure simultaneously, so they are suitable for couples and friends as well. You should reserve your time slot in advance, and all the additional information can be found at www.legame.hr.
