Rijeka FC to move into their new home.
A special technical licensing team from the Croatian Football Association will visit the new stadium of FC Rijeka on Wednesday to decide whether all the technical requirements have been met, according to a report in Novilist on July 28, 2015. It is expected that there will be no major problems, since the stadium was built according to UEFA’s recommendations for three-star stadiums.
Building inspectorate is expected to give its go-ahead today which will, together with the Football Association’s permit, enable FC Rijeka to play it’s next home match against Lokomotiva on Sunday at the new stadium on Rujevica.
At 20.00 hours on Thursday, FC Rijeka will organize an open training session for all club subscribers who will receive a special leaflet which will enable them to request additional personalization of their seats at the new stadium.
Prior to the training session, the honor of playing the first match at the new stadium will be given to children who train at FC Rijeka’s football school.
