Another nice look into the immediate future in Jelsa. Yesterday we published some proposed plans for the renovation of Hotel Jadran. It would be a fantastic boost for tourism in Jelsa if they were finally realised, a quality hotel to match the potential of the destination.
Meanwhile, across the harbour…
Work is ongoing on the new waterfront. The collapse of the old riva last year is being addressed, and work has been ongoing for a few weeks now. You can see the latest from this morning’s photo from the Total terrace.
More exciting perhaps is work which has started by the boat house which houses the rowing club, as works to extend the pier have finally begun. Once completed, the Jelsa catamaran will have a new hoe, as you can see in the image in the lead photo. A move of 30 metres, but it will open up the harbour for more sailboats.
Things seem to be coming along nicely in Jelsa.
