Michael Flatley’s global dance sensation “Lord of the Dance” performed at the Spaladium Arena, Split on Tuesday October 13th 2015 for the second time since the arena opened.
Following a sell-out West End run in 2014 and 2015, Flatley’s dance troop came to Split this time around with their new show “Dangerous Games”which features new staging, costumes and mesmerizing new choreography which is just as demanding as the original. With new music from composer Gerard Fahy, “Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games” captivated the audience at the Spaladium Arena with its timeless story of a battle between good and evil, Irish tradition combined with the excitement of new music and energetic dance. Though tacky at times, with power ballads and numerous cliches, it was still a great way to spend your Tuesday night.
Lord of the Dance has broken several world records by now – Michael Flately holds the Guinness record as the man with the fastest feet with unbelievable 28 taps per second. And if that’s not enough, he beat his own record in 1998 with 35 taps per second.
