November the 16th, 2023 – The well known Accolade Group has managed to obtain a construction permit to build a 50,000 square metre industrial facility close to the capital.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, the Accolade Group, known for its investments in modern industrial and production facilities throughout Europe, is continuing on with its expansion into foreign markets. In accordance with the enterprise’s ambitious business plans that are focused on the area of Southeastern Europe, the Accolade Group recently added the Republic of Croatia to its portfolio, seeing it become the seventh European country where it is present.
Speaking about opportunities in Croatia, the Accolade Group has now obtained a building permit for its first industrial facility just north of Zagreb. The future complex will span a total area of about 50,000 square metres, and at the same time, the company is working on several other locations that are suitable for the development of industrial zones, as reported by Večernji list.
Eurozone and Schengen accession, as well as huge potential
“The market of modern industrial infrastructure here in Croatia has started to develop rather rapidly in recent years. Currently, there are only a few modern industrial locations in the country, but despite this, it is a country with enormous potential that joined both the Eurozone and the Schengen area this year.
In addition to the above, Croatia has a wide base of experienced and technically qualified workers, an adequate transport infrastructure and several ports of particular international economic interest. The Accolade Group’s large investment fits into our wider strategic goals of expanding into regions with strong demand and potential for further growth. As was the case with previous countries, we want to discover interesting locations that hide untapped potential,” said Milan Kratina, the executive director of the Accolade Group.
