January the 9th, 2023 – It’s only the first week of January, and Ericsson Nikola Tesla has already got 8 million euros worth of jobs lined up.
As Josipa Ban/Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Ericsson Nikola Tesla has signed several new contracts worth almost 8 million euros, excluding VAT. The company pointed out that the contracted jobs are related to the digital transformation of society and the modernisation of communication networks.
To be more specific, Ericsson Nikola Tesla contracted with the Ministry of the Interior (MUP) the delivery of new mobile systems for monitoring the green border throughout 2024, which will further increase the overall monitoring technical capacities. They also noted that they are set to continue to cooperate with Croatian Roads/Hrvatske Ceste on the construction of the National Access Point.
That in particular a project in which the main information hub for the exchange of traffic and travel data will be established. A new contract was signed between Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the Ministry of Culture and Media related to the digitisation of cultural heritage (eKultura/eCulture) project.
The goal of the national digital cultural heritage information system eKultura/eCulture is to bring together digital cultural heritage across the Republic of Croatia and make it more easily accessible to the wider public. This also involves integrated search and access, as well as permanent storage and protection. The largest Croatian ICT company also reported that it will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Justice and Administration, as well as the with the State Geodetic Administration regarding the Joint Information System of Land Registers and Cadastres.
The delivery of the Once Only Technical System (OOTS) platform for the exchange of services at the level of the European Union (EU) was also contracted with the Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society. Contracts related to the digitisation of public administration have now also been signed.
They stated from Ericsson Nikola Tesla that jobs related to the modernisation of communication networks on the markets of Croatia’s neighbouring countries have also been contracted.
