March the 23rd, 2024 – Croatia Airlines 2024 Split flights are set to expand – much to the delight of the resident population and tourists visiting Croatia’s second largest city.
Croatia Airlines has been announcing the expansion of its flight network for some time now, but the primary focus of said announcements has been on Zagreb Airport. It seems that trend is spreading down to Dalmatia as the summer weather gradually approaches.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Croatia Airlines is expanding its network of regular international flights from Split to various different European destinations in this year’s summer flight schedule, for the third year in a row.
Direct flights from Split to the Turkish capital of Istanbul are also a new introduction. They’ll fly three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, in the period from May the 7th to mid-October 2024. This enables Croatia Airlines to provide even better air connections between Split and international destinations. Return air tickets are available to passengers on this line at a price starting at 179 euros.
Looking further into the Croatia Airlines 2024 Split flight expansion, seasonal flights from Split to Oslo and Split to Skoplje, which were introduced last year, have been re-planned, as have the seasonal flights to Amsterdam, Bucharest, Dublin, Milan and Stockholm, which were introduced back in 2022.
This means that during this upcoming tourist season, Split Airport will be directly connected with 21 international destinations, i.e. 22 airports (Amsterdam, Athens, Vienna, Berlin, Bucharest, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Copenhagen, London Gatwick and London Heathrow, Lyon, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Skopje, Stockholm and Zurich).
