June the 3rd, 2024 – An adopted Croatian cat has used AI to help create a song about cat adoption and the popular Eurovision star and cat lover Baby Lasagna.
Croatian catfluencer Mr Dunjofsky showcases the typical life of an adopted, spoiled cat with his grumpy Instagram posts: eating, purring, sleeping. Now he also has a viral music video.
The song “Lasagna Mijau Corleone (Udomi mačke/Adopt cats)” celebrates success of his favourite singer, Croatian Eurovision representative, Baby Lasagna, and reminds us of the beauty of helping animals. It is well known that the singer Baby Lasagna is a huge cat lover, supports animal shelters and encourages others to take care of abandoned animals. That’s why adopted Croatian cat Mr Dunjofsky likes him.
Inspired by the sad fate of animals living on the streets, his song encourages humans to adopt and love cats. The main roles are played by Mr Dunjofsky and his friends Dina and Wonka, also rescued cats. He knows well what it’s like to live on the street. He was rescued as a kitten after someone threw him out of a car in the middle of the road eight years ago. That is why Mr Dunjofsky now thoroughly enjoys life: he sleeps, eats, sleeps, eats, cuddles a little, then sleeps and eats again. That is why he became the Croatian Garfield: both are adopted, incredibly lazy and incurably hungry.
The song was produced by rapper IFEEL as a result of a unique collaboration: feline inspiration, human creativity and generative artificial intelligence. The rapper’s voice in this song is not IFEEL’s voice but an AI voice. Mr. Dunjofsky provided the inspiration, IFEEL wrote the lyrics, the music was generated by AI according to special instructions and prompts, and the final musical arrangement was done by IFEEL. Of course, Mr. Dunjofsky sang his own meow melody at the beginning and the end of the song. The video is directed by IFEEL.
