If you don’t have problems with driving, the most beautiful Croatian national park Plitvicka jezera can be a great weekend trip from Split. In any part of the year, whether it’s sunny or snow covers it completely this string of lakes is always spectacular, it’s not strange that it’s the one of the busiest Croatian tourist destinations. Also, it is the one that is the most written about. The latest contribution comes from The Weather Channel web site, with photo feature titled “Croatia’s Spectacular Plitvice Lakes Park”.
