Three Croatian Handballers in the Running for “World’s Best Player” Award

Domagoj Duvnjak, Renato Sulić and Ivan Čupić made it to the preliminary round of 32

Croatian handball players Domagoj Duvnjak, Renato Sulić and Ivan Ćupić are in the running for the World’s Best Handball Player award, given out each year by specialised portal handball-planet.com.

Croatian trio has been selected along with 29 other players by journalists from all over the world, and in the final voting round which ends on December 3, readers and handball fans will also have their say in selecting both the best player and the ideal team.

 

Domagoj Duvnjak won the award back in 2013, same year when he was selected as the world’s best handball player by IHF, International Handball Federation.
