After he spent almost the entire game against Turkey with a bandaged head, it didn’t take long for the Online community to have a field day with his “predicament”.

Vedran Corluka, a Croatian football player, spent the better half of the game against Turkey on June 12, 2016, bandaged and bleeding after a very nasty elbow kick to the head by Ozan Tufan. Being a tough guy, he played until the very last second, but the image of his bandaged head became an instant hit online with GIFs Memes and Videos appearing just minutes after the unfortunate incident.
