Creeping up on us with somewhat of a surprise, Ivan Svaguša, our comic book hero, has paved the way for some special guests in a comically crafted event happening tonight at Info Zona.
Stripnjak comics was founded in 2012, and has since then promoted comics and small press publishings through several editions that include graphic books, mini-comics, graphic books and the fanzine Stripnjak. Stripnjak Comics is currently governed by Kostja Ribnik and Ella Gall who are based in Sarajevo, with a branch office in Bergen, Norway run by Andreas Brandal.
The new comic album Re-Adaptik along with fanzine Stripnjak is in its third issue of promotion this summer, and we are lucky enough to have Kostja Ribnik come all the way from Sarajevo to talk to us in Split.
Held at Info zona, this event will be a great way for comic strip enthusiasts to socialize about comic books and get to know the interesting actors in the Croatian comic scenes. This season has already hosted Sonja Gašperov, Matka Vladanović and Vinko Barić.
This event is being implemented as part of the Club for young zone and is funded by the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth.
