Beginning tomorrow, August 16 and running through August 21, ItaliaFest, a festival of Italian delicacies, will be taking place in Split at Trg. Republike. The festival will be open from 8h-20h.
This week, ItaliaFest will take over Trg. Republike in Split, boasting a large display of all things Italian for you to enjoy.
Some of the delicacies that can be found are cannolis from Sicily, sausages from Montepulciano that have been aged and preserved in caves, giant mortadella from Bologna, olives from Sicily, prosciutto from Tuscany that has been aged in hay, cheese from Piedmont, salami and cheese flavored with truffles – typical of Norcia (Umbria), and the best parmesan on the market that has been aged for 36 months.

A perfect way to get a taste of classic Italian fare, ItaliaFest will be held from August 16-21, open each day from 8h-20h.
