The tragedy was due to her problematic relationships, global success, and a non-standard way of life under the scrutiny of the media – making her completely fall apart emotionally.
Starring: Unstable Belarusian elements (U glavnim ulogama: Nestabilni bjeloruski elementi)
Belarus had the last dictatorship in Europe for over 20 years under the heavy-handed government of Alexander Lukashenko. Although he banned freedom of expression and political opposition, it was reduced to the margins, in the center of Minsk, in a secret location, defying his Belarusian Free Theatre. The film is composed of smuggled shots, and gives the audience a front row seat, showing the resistance that is taking place parallel to the stage and in the streets.
