PopraviGrad, a new online portal, hopes to better Split with the help independent city councilors.
Ante Zoričić and Ivica Grubišić Gire, Independent Councilors in the City Council of Split, have launched a portal to address the city’s problems. Meet PopraviGrad.
The purpose of PopraviGrad (essentially translating in English to “correct the city”) is to create a safe haven for the citizens of Split to submit their questions, comments, and concerns in an effort to better the city. Once submitted, the councilors then inform the respective authorities about the suggestions or issues, permitting answers and feedback to the public.
The portal is clear and simple, and every prominent problem has a traffic light, through which you can see at what stage of resolution the issue is in.
The specificity of this portal is for city councilors to take on the problems and the concerns expressed by citizens, which already requires daily commitment and coordination with the competent city services.
Have something you want to say? You can view PopraviGrad here. Although we just tried, it seems that the bandwidth has been exceeded on the site as of now. We’re assuming a lot of you had something to say!
