In addition to online booking and search engine, which allows you to search in real time, the application offers smart solutions for hairdressing and beauty salons.

The Allurebook startup has turned the idea of an internet service for booking hairdressing and beauty salons services into an innovative application that will be tested in September on the Croatian market. In addition to booking and search engine, which allows for the most efficient search for available bookings in real time, the application will offer smart solutions for business users – hairdressing and beauty salons. With the online calendar and scheduling in real time, salons can have a profile with additional information, they can manage administration and statistics, and control the efficiency of their employees, reports Poslovni.hr on September 29, 2016.

“I have immediately recognized the potential of the application. It has given added value to my clients because they can book an appointment in advance whenever they want, even in the middle of a night. I was particularly impressed by the ability of marketing tools and for communication with clients. Each discount is visible to customers in real time, and I can monitor business results of my salon from the comfort of my own home”, explains Nina Sabolić, owner of the Hair Couture salon.

The idea was born after the London Fashion Week, where Mateo Markoč, one of the founders of Allurebook, worked on an advertising campaign for a company that distributes and sells fashion products. He assembled a team and launched the project. Domagoj Franc, the main developer, is responsible for the coding and solving the technical challenges, while Tino Šušković is responsible for finance and project management.

The application will remain free for end users, and in the first few months of testing, business users will also not pay anything. However, in the future, business users will pay a monthly subscription. “The goal of Allurebook is to export and expand the project in IT developed countries, where the market potential is much larger. Expansion strategy will be based on a franchise model. Allurebook will provide the system as a finished product, tailored to a particular market with technical and administrative support, and partners will be responsible for marketing and sales and commit to fulfil certain standards”, explains Tino Šušković.

In the long term, they aim to connect popular Croatian hairdressing salons with tourists who need such services during their stay in Croatia. “This is another way of linking seemingly different business branches with the potential to increase sales, quality of services, and to increase consumption and exports”, says Markoč.
