In the first eight months of 2016, ACI had 143 million kuna in total revenues.
The ACI company, which manages the national system of 22 marinas along the Croatian Adriatic coast, in the first eight months of this year had revenues in the amount of 143 million kuna, which was a slight increase compared to the same period last year, announced the company on Wednesday, reports Poslovni.hr on October 6, 2016.
Of the total operating revenues in the amount of 135 million kuna, which includes nautical activities (annual, monthly and daily berths, leasing and other services for yachts), the largest share worth almost 65 million kuna came from annual berth leases. On the last day of August, ACI says it had a total of 3,491 registered contracts for annul berths.
At the same time, the company stated that their income from daily (transit) berths increased by 9 percent compared to last year, to 43 million kuna, while revenues from monthly berths amounted to 6.3 million kuna, from leasing and non-core activities to nearly 10 million kuna, and from other services to 8.4 million kuna.
They point out that this summer a new ACI marina “Veljko Barbieri”, the 22nd marina in their system, was opened in Slano. It began with operations on 3 August, and by the end of August it had 485 arrivals. At the same time, it already signed 42 contracts for annual berths.
“Preparations are underway for the start of a complete reconstruction of the marina in Rovinj, we have prepared a conceptual design for the reconstruction of the marina in Opatija, while in the marina in Dubrovnik we are currently making preparations for the upgrade of the so-called travel lift pool. We will also select the model for further development and expansion of that marina”, announced ACI.
