The marketing concept titled “Selected Product of the Year” is part of the world’s largest prize for innovative products on which a decision is voted upon by consumers. The project was designed in France and operates in more than 40 of the most developed countries.
According to the latest news issued by the portal “Ja Trgovac”, the results for the “Selected Products of the Year” in Croatia have been named, reports Poslovni.hr. The survey was conducted by the company “Nielsen”, which is the world’s leader in market research and consumer trends. The survey was conducted on a representative sample of 2,000 respondents of Croatian consumers, aged 15-65 years of age. The aim of the project is to advise consumers when buying, and reward manufacturers for innovation and quality.
Twenty-one products will receive the red label for “Selected Product of the Year”. These selected items will be highlighted with a visible declaration on the shelves of “Konzum” stores – whether other retailers will follow this example remains to be seen.
