Hotel Academia, the new luxury hotel to open its doors in Zagreb this week, is located in the former Zagreb shopping mall Cascade.
Buro 247 reports on 14 December 2016 that Hotel Academia, a new 4-star hotel in the heart of Zagreb, will open its doors at the end of the week at Tkalčićeva 88. Located in the reconstructed area of the former shopping center Cascade, the hotel has 53 modern accommodation units (51 double rooms, two of which are adapted for disabled guests and two suites with a jacuzzi) and many facilities including a wellness center, fitness center, restaurant, bistro, wedding hall, conference hall, and shopping mall.

Near the hotel there are numerous attractions such as the Zagreb Cathedral, Grič, Lotrščak tower, fountain Manduševac, Dolac, Ilica, Tkalčićeva street, Glyptotheque, Natural History Museum, City Museum, and St. Mark’s Square. In addition to sightseeing, guests are able to experience the atmosphere of Zagreb (especially during the times of Advent), and as soon as you come out of the hotel you are centrally located on Tkalčićeva Street – giving you perfect insight into the daily lives and habits of Zagreb locals.
This modern building, whose design is signed by the architectural studio Kap4, is spread over three floors – and the hotel even welcomes guests with pets. The ground floor of the hotel has plans to open a restaurant.
