As Snow Settles on Korcula and Vis, Croatia’s Sunshine Island Tries to Follow

One has to feel sorry for Hvar children.

There is snow EVERYWHERE in Croatia, and even the neighbouring islands – Vis to the west and Korcula to the south were covered in the stuff yesterday, as you can see from this video below posted by the Smokvica-Brna Tourist Board on Korcula. 

And you can see that Hvar was trying to respond, but as Jo Ahearne (many thanks for the pic) looked out to the Plavac Mali vineyards high above Sveta Nedjelja, technically there was snow, but not many Hvar snowmen will be built out of it…
