The annual ”Night of Museums” will be held for the 6th time by Udruga “Zvezdano village Mosor” (Star Village) at the observatory on Mosor. The event will be held in the evening on Friday, January 27, 2017.

18:00 to 18:15 | Guided tour of the Museum of Technical Culture
18:15 to 18:45 | Performance by the student group “Guardians of Heritage”, from elementary school Mertojak
18:45 to 19:15 | Literary workshop for children “Book and dinosaurs,” Grozdana Ribičić , head of the Department for Children and Youth City Library Marko Marulić
19:15 to 20:00 | Lecture about the history of music, by doc. Ph. D.. Goran Sučić
20:00 to 20:30 | Performance clarinetist Mislava Norac from Sinj
20:30 to 21:00 | Performance by mixed choir “Ćakula”
21:00 to 21:30 | Reading music, prose-poetry, by Grozdana Ribičić, president of the Croatian Reading Association – Branch Split
21:30 to 22:00 | Performance of the musical duo “The Moment” from Kaštela
22:15 to 23:15 | Popular scientific lecture “Black holes, gravitational waves, and gamma rays,” prof. dr. Nikola Godinović (FESB, Split)
23:30 to 1:00 | Astronomical Observation at the sky terrace (if weather conditions allow it), by astronomer-animator ZSM Zoran Knez
The observatory will be open from 18:00 to 01:00, and admission is free for all.
Courtesy of the City of Split and the company “Promet” d.o.o., free shuttle buses will be organized for all interested parties. The first bus will head to the observatory from the bus terminal Sukoišan at 17:00 and the second at 19:00. Buses back to Split are scheduled for 20:30 and 24:00.
