Drive-in cinema Zagreb is celebrating its 5th anniversary! This year’s edition will take place between the 22nd and 30th of April at Kockica polygon, a parking lot located in Cvjetno naselje. The event is organised by DriveINkino movement and the Croatian Student Association.
This widely popular form of entertainment originating from the US has never quite taken hold in these parts during the 20th century and nowadays gives off an appealing vintage vibe, which is why it’s been attracting a large number of visitors in recent years.
The manifestation will take place on two consecutive weekends, each night starting with an outdoor event at 7 PM, followed by a movie screening at 9 PM. A projection screen with a 12-metre diagonal will ensure everyone has a good view from their car seats, and the audio will be broadcast at an FM frequency so the visitors can tune in using their car radios.
