Dubrovnik’s Hilton Imperial partakes Hilton Worldwide Career Week!
As DuList reported on the 18th of May, 2017, Dubrovnik’s very own Hilton Imperial participates in the global ”Hilton Worldwide Career Week”, which is held annually, and presents a number of opportunities in the hotel industry for young people seeking that particular career path.
This initiative is part of Hilton’s open door policy, to which the company is committed to positively influencing at least one million young people by the year 2019, with the aim of helping them to better prepare and to achieve their full potential. While Hilton is a wildly successful hotel chain, it’s future is just like the future of any other company and depends on nothing but continued success and growth, which of course begins with young, willing people who want to follow a career path in the field of tourism and hospitality. Since 2014, Hilton has trained 135,000 young people in 9 countries.
More than 20 hotels around Europe cooperate with support centers for individuals who have fled from bad situations. In Germany, Hilton is the largest hotel group joining the coalition under the leadership of “Wir Zusammen” to encourage economic and social integration of refugees.
Careers at Hilton Week is Hilton’s biggest career-related global event and represents a number of opportunities available to young people as well as to other job seekers in the hotel chain. Over the course of one week, hotels and corporate offices around the world will hold events that promote the exciting careers available within the hotel industry. Sharing experiences, knowledge, and passion for hotels will bring the company even closer to achieving the goal of creating opportunities for 1 million young people by the year 2019.
Hilton is proud to be steadily winning the “Best Place to Work” prize and being named one of the “top 25 multinational companies” in 2016.
