The new technology park will be located in the former “OH dom” on Spinut and the first tenants are expected in two years, reports Dalmatinski Portal on June 2, 2017.

Through the project “Development of the High Technology Incubator at the University of Split”, the park was awarded 20 million HRK in EU funds, which is also the largest single amount approved for a public project in Split.

The reconstruction of the former OH dom premises begins this year and the first tenants are expected in two years.

This high-tech incubator should extend over 2500 square feet and will have 26 new modular offices, a coworking space with 45 workspaces, three business support offices, an accelerator office, a hardware lab with plenty of equipment, nine meeting rooms, four kitchens, five social rooms, a recreation area and three conference halls with 105, 50 and 25 seats. In addition, 140 new jobs will be opened for young start-ups, from high-tech IT to other technologies.

Documentation for this project started more than a year ago and was announced at the end of 2016. Out of the maximum of 100 points given, this project received 91.
