As DuList reported on the 8th of June, 2017, six ships carrying almost 9,000 passengers arrived in Dubrovnik according to official data from the city Port Authority.
More than 8,600 passengers will disembark in the port of Gruz. In the early morning hours, Gruz saw the arrival of ”Thomson spirit” where 1,400 passengers arrived, just two hours later, ”Le Lyrial” arrived at Porat carrying a further 264 passengers. At the same time, the large ”AIDAblu” cruise ship arrived in Gruz carrying an impressive 2,500 passengers, while just one hour later, the enormous frequent visitor to Dubrovnik, ”Celebrity Constellation” ship with 2,038 passengers docked at Gruz. At noon, ”MSC Sinfonia” is scheduled to arrive with 2,679 guests on board, and three hours later, at 15:00, ”Poseidon” has been announced for which no official figures on the number of passengers have yet been published.
In total, more than 107,000 passengers will arrive in Dubrovnik from cruise ships alone throughout the month of June.
