Stormy Weather Requires More than 60 Interventions by Zagreb Firefighters

Zagreb City Office for Emergency Management reported last night that their services were called upon around 60 times due to stormy weather, Politika plus reports.

The severe weather affected the areas of New Zagreb, Lanište, Sveta Klara, Botinec, Dugave and Utrine the most, the Office has stated.

Zagreb Fire Department and volunteer fire departments were out in the field mostly removing trees and pumping out water. Zagreb Fire Department posted a status on Facebook last night, asking the citizens to be patient because more than 100 addresses required their attention.
