Summer brings adventurous new tastes to the most popular haute cuisine restaurant in Zagreb
One of the most popular restaurants in Zagreb that offers a truly cosmopolitan fine dining experience in the heart of Zagreb, NOEL, has changed their menu from spring to summer, which means you can enjoy lighter and more refreshing versions of all the delicacies the innovative mind of Chef Goran Kočiš has in store.
Cold appetisers include beef tartare with butter and toast, tuna ceviche with coriander and chilli, or buratina with lettuce, melon and tomatoes.

Soup options include three options: spinach, macadamia nuts and goat cheese; chicken consommé with tortellini and vegetables; or scampi bisque.
If you’re more of a warm appetiser type of person, try homemade tagliolini with shrimp wok, squid risotto with apples and tomatoes, or beef piccata with quiche and salad.

Now that you’ve tried the snacks, it’s time to bring out the big guns: main courses include chicken supreme with beans, bread, and baby salad; Venetian style dinner with polenta gorgonzola; Black Slavonian pig with nectarine, marinated celery and buckwheat; salmon with lime tagliatelle, squid and Swiss chard; or tuna steak with bulgur and vegetables.
If you’re anything like us and can’t make up your mind, you’ve come to the right place – tasting menus by Chef Goran Kočiš: 4 – 9 courses, HRK 365 – 690, or, if you want to splurge, make a NOEL Chef table reservation for HRK 1,000 and let Chef Kočić surprise you.
Finally, what’s a meal without wine – expert sommelier Ivan Jug will gladly recommend a wine to compliment your meal, or, if you want to taste more than one, you can try the wine tasting menus – HRK 240 – 470 for 4 – 9 courses.
