The travel blog gives their recommendations for what to see and do when in Zagreb
Bright Nomad, a travel blog with travel guides, planning tips, travel photography and inspiration, has recently rounded up 10 cool things to do in Zagreb.
“If you like urban travel with a bit of urban nature and a very relaxed atmosphere, Zagreb has a lot to offer.
Zagreb is a great city with a very laid-back vibe. It’s got its somewhat quirky museums, some cool cafes, excellent street art and plenty of places to chill.
I spent a couple of weeks there and these are my tips for cool things to do, most of them free.”

A great thing about the blog post is that it actually recommends some cool spots that most other travel guides leave out – such as Jarun, the recently opened Program Bar, Booksa cafe and library, Art Park, or the Botanical Garden, as well as two great tours – Free Spirit Guided Tour and Street Art Tour.
It doesn’t mean that the popular spots all the other guides mention are any less beautiful or not worthy of your time, but it’s great to see more diversity and some of the not-so-frequently recommended places (some of them outside the centre) get their chance to shine.
