Conceptual Design of Korčula’s New Port Presented

A makeover for Korčula?

As Glas Grada reported on the 22nd of July, 2017, Deputy Mayor Joško Cebalo participated in the presentation of the conceptual project of Korčula’s new port at the City Hall of the City of Korčula, the Director of the County Port Authority, Vedran Leleković, welcomed participants and expressed his satisfaction with the current progress of the new project, stressing that a new port for Korčula is a major infrastructure project and will contribute positively to overall tourism on the island.

Otherwise, the picturesque island of Korčula is increasingly popular for tourists, especially those wanting a break from the hustle and bustle of the nearby City of Dubrovnik, and those in towns like Orebić and on the Pelješac peninsula.
