A Little Knowledge Goes A Long Way: British Embassy Zagreb Informs Tourists

British Embassy Zagreb outlines some of the basics for those travelling to Croatia.

While some of the rules are of course recycled information and should be known anyway, British Embassy Zagreb has made sure to include some of the ”rarer gems” such as possible fines, and their amounts for certain behaviour including alcohol consumption on the streets or beaches (in which fines have been introduced in some popular destinations in the country).

Among other things, they have also highlighted the importance of dressing appropriately in town/city centres, a subject that has been in the media a lot recently, most prominently in Dubrovnik and Hvar.
