Wine Trail & Run is a perfect combination of wine drinking and running.
Want to explore Zagreb County, but you’d like for it to be a challenge? If you also happen to love wine, Jastrebarsko has just the thing for you!
One of the most interesting (and challenging) tourism events in Jastrebarsko, Wine Trail & Run, is taking place on August 19 this year.
There will be three races of different duration, acceptable for all levels of fitness (and consumption tolerance).
kapljica (Light): 8km / 430mD+ (map)
škropec (Active): 15km / 750mD+ (map)
gemišt (Challenger): 22km / 1.200mD+ (map)
The fee for each category is HRK 120, and you can apply here until August 3.
Races in all categories start at 11 a.m., and the time limit is 6 p.m. Winners will be announced at 1 p.m. for the Light category, 3 p.m. for Active, and 4 p.m. for Challenger.
This is the first time in its eight years that the runners will be competing at trail tracks in Jastrebarsko, passing through the most stunning landscape in the area.
In 2016, the event attracted 350 runners and numerous visitors who came to cheer them.
