Fire on Brač Spreads Quickly, Two Canadairs at the Scene

A new fire burns on the island of Brač this afternoon. 

Today around noon, a new fire broke out on the island of Brač, reports Dalmacija Danas on August 9, 2017.

According to the first information received, the fire is burning at Nerežiško polje between Nerežišća and Donji Humac, or the main road towards Supetar. The fire is said to be expanding rapidly.

DVD Supetar is on the ground and members of DVD Bol are also on duty.

Two Canadairs have also arrived at the scene.
