According to the latest list published by Times Higher Education, one of world’s top three university ranking websites, the University of Split ranks considerably higher than the University of Zagreb.
The University in Split currently holds a position in the 501-600th group on the list, while the one in Zagreb placed far lower, in the bottom group of 800-1000th.
Statistical data shows that each professor employed at the University of Split is responsible for 31 students, out of the total number of 20.817.
The University in Zagreb has 73.465 enrolled students; every professor is responsible for 17 students.
Both universities share a common trait – only 1% of international students.
The first place on the list is again taken by the Oxford University, followed by its rival, the University of Cambridge.
