Advent in Split to make a visit to the capital Zagreb.

Preparations for the festive days ahead are slowly gaining momentum. Music, entertainment and art events which will be included in the “Advent in Split” program will move to the Croatian capital for just one day. Zagreb will be able to feel and experience the magic of “Advent in Split”, with its recognizable Dalmatian delicacies, music and a lot of laughter and fun, reports Dalmacija News on November 24, 2015.

The event, which will be held on Wednesday from 3.30 to 6.30 pm on the main city square in Zagreb, will enable the citizens of Zagreb to see what Split offers this holiday season, including the entire program of this year’s “Advent in Split”. The event will be organized thanks to the financial support of the Split Tourist Board. Split will use this introduction to the upcoming holiday season to present to the citizens of Zagreb and their guests the special festive atmosphere which will soon take over its squares and streets.

The events which are part of the “Advent in Split” program will be presented by the director of the Tourist Board Alijana Vukšić, while the entertainment will be in the hands of Marijana Batinić and Luka Nižetić, who will prepare traditional Dalmatian specialties as part of the culinary show “My Advent Food”. Visitors will be able to dance to fine music selected by well-known DJ Sensi, as well as participate in contests which could bring them valuable prizes: return tickets to Split provided by Croatia Airlines and Croatian Railroads, tickets for various performances of the Croatian National Theatre in Split, and food and drinks at the Paradox wine bar in Split, which will further spice up their stay in the most beautiful city in the world, as citizens of Split like to call their home town.

The Split Tourist Board invites everyone to visit “Advent in Split” this year and its “Christmas Market”, and enjoy the great variety of commemorative souvenirs, jewelry and ornaments which could make a unique holiday gift. One important piece of advice to all those coming to spend the holiday season in Split: do not forget your sunglasses!
